Orange Shirt Day
LMPS community, we are asking all students to wear orange on September 30 in support of Orange Shirt Day. This day raises awareness about the harmful impact of the Residential School System on Indigenous People in Canada. It’s held at this time of year because many Indigenous children were taken from their homes and sent to residential schools around then.
