Dear Lynx Families,
We are thrilled to announce that on Tuesday, April 21st, we will be hosting the National Lacrosse Organization for a special day of athletic discovery!
Professional coaches and representatives from the organization will be working directly with our Grade 4 through Grade 8 students. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about the history, culture, and fundamentals of Lacrosse.
Students will participate in hands-on clinics focusing on:
- The Basics: Proper stick handling, cradling, and passing techniques.
- The Game: Understanding the rules and the unique heritage of lacrosse.
- Teamwork: Drills designed to build communication and sportsmanship.
To ensure everyone can participate safely and comfortably, please help your child remember the following:
- Proper Attire: Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes.
- Bring Water Bottles:
- Equipment: All necessary equipment (sticks, soft balls, etc.) will be provided by the organization. Students do not need to bring their own gear.
